What this site is

Better Life Magazine publishes general consumer information. It is not legal, tax, financial or medical advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. Laws differ by state and circumstances differ by person; check anything that matters with someone qualified to look at your situation.

Better Life is funded by affiliate commissions. Articles on this site may link to products sold by other companies. If you buy something through one of those links, we may be paid a commission by the seller or by the affiliate network that represents them. This never changes what you pay.

Articles that exist to promote a specific product are marked Advertisement in the bar at the top of the page and again in the disclaimer at the bottom. We do not publish paid articles without that label.

Accuracy

We take care with what we publish and we cite our sources, but prices, products and rules change. We do not promise that every figure is current on the day you read it. If you spot something out of date, tell us.
